Material Description

Unlike natural crystalline quartz, fused quartz does not contain a long-range crystal lattice structure. This non-crystalline atomic arrangement provides superior optical clarity and excellent thermal stability.

Because of its low thermal expansion coefficient and high resistance to thermal shock, quartz glass can withstand rapid temperature changes without cracking or deformation.
